MoU signed by Mr Deepak Kumar Singh, Director, Ozone Pharmaceuticals Limited and Prof GD Sharma, Vice Chancellor, USTM
9th Mile, Khanapara, Ri Bhoi, February 3, 2023: The Ozone Pharmaceuticals Limited, a New Delhi-based company with one of its ultramodern and high-tech manufacturing units in Amingaon Guwahati, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM) here today for research and collaboration.
The MoU was signed by Mr Deepak Kumar Singh, Director, Ozone Pharmaceuticals Limited and Prof GD Sharma, Vice Chancellor, USTM in the presence of Dr RK Sharma, Advisor USTM and other high officials. The two signatories have identified the areas of collaboration. The Ozone Director Mr Singh has agreed to extend the latest facilities available in Guwahati and Delhi for research collaboration. USTM will be sending students for training and placement at Ozone Pharmaceuticals Limited.
According to the pact, both institutions will work collaboratively by launching joint research activities, including the Exchange of Faculty Members and Research Personnel. The collaboration will be there in various forms with CSOs, the introduction of value-added courses/ programs, add-on courses directed towards skill enhancement, exchange of academic and other publications, organization of joint conferences, online conferences, seminars and academic meetings. There will be internship programmes, panel discussions, and mentorship sessions for the students in Industry Project work.
