  • Establishment of Central public School-Badarpur: Impressed by the success of the CPS- Patharkandi, the second CBSE affiliated school was started by ERD Foundation at Badarpur in the Karimganj District which was inaugurated by His Excellency Governor of Meghalaya Shri R. S. Mooshahary on 21st January, 2010.
  • NEDFI and ERD Foundation jointly organized a national seminar on commercial cultivation of Medicinal & Aromatic Plants in North East India on 10th February 2010.
  • ERD Foundation and CSIR-NEIST,Jorhat (formerly RRL) jointly organized a International Conference on “Global Warming & Climate change vis-à-vis management of Natural Resources in North East India” on 22nd and 23rd March 2010. The conferences tried to focus the impending impacts of climate change in the region and to find out ways and means top mitigate the same.
  • The ERD Foundation in association with NCMEI, organized a Regional Conference on 10th April 2010 at Guwahati on the issue of “Minority women and their empowerment through Education”
  • A SEMINAR ON ‘Right to Education and the Role of Media’ was organized under the ERDF banner by the Journalism department of Central IT College on 27th May 2010.
  • RIST had organized a motivational talk among the students on “How to prepare for Indian Administrative Services” delivered by Dr. Shah Faesal, IAS Topper 2009 on 26th August, 2010.In the same function, ERDF felicitated him for his outstanding achievement.
  • ERDF organized a talk on “Management of Ethno Cultural Diversity in Higher Education” delivered by  Prof. Marie Mc. Andrew, Chairman, Ethnic studies, University of Montreal, Canada, on 13th December, 2010.
  • Scholarship: around 50 students were offered free scholarship in different institutes of the Trust. The Scholarship was given to students who hail from the economic backward communities. The scholarship was extended to management, Computer science, journalism, Engineering, Biotechnology and School education.
  • The Foundation also provides free distribution of cash to 20 families in Karimganj every year. It also provides interest free loans to its employees. While extending loan and advance to deserving enterprising youth of this region, introduction of the Bus service and charity ambulance service.
