• The first venture of the foundation Central IT College is rated as the No. 1 center in North Eastern India & ranked 2nd in the country by Sikkim Manipal University, has also been selected as the Nodal Centre of the entire North Eastern region. SMU conferred UNIVERSITY EXCELLENCE AWARD for the last 5 consecutive years. More than 5,000 students have so far passed out from CITC and have found gainful employment in India and abroad.
 
Established “Regional College of Higher Education” in 2007.The first batch of the college for year 2007-2010 academic session came out with flying colour in the university final examination conducted by North East Hill University (NEHU)-Shillong & brought glory for the college by acquiring top positions in individual subjects. The pass percentage of the batch is 100% and most of the students secured first class. Out of 10 positions in university examination, 2 (3rd & 9th) positions in Biotechnology, 4 (5th, 6th, 7th & 8th) positions in Biochemistry, 4 (2nd, 4th, 7th & 8th) positions in BCA and 3 (5th, 7th & 10th) positions in BBA acquired by RCHE students in 2010 3rd year final university examination. In 2011 final examination also, RCHE students once again showed their quality by securing top positions, in addition to very good pass percentage.
 
In the year 2008, set up a school affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi in the name of “Central Public School” at Patharkandi in a rural border area of Karimganj District.
 
Established “Regional Institute of Science & Technology” (RIST), a state of the art Engineering college at 9th Mile, Meghalaya approved  by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to NEHU, Shillong with six engineering streams in 2009.
 
Another CBSE school was inaugurated by His Excellency  Shri. R. S. Mooshahary, Governor of Meghalaya on 21st  January, 2010 at Badarpur.
 
In 2011, the dream project of ERDF – University of Science & Technology, Meghalaya (USTM) – came into being under the provisions of USTM Act (No.6 of 2008)  enacted by Legislative Assembly of Meghalaya and notified vide Notification No LL(B)87/2008/21, dt. 02.12.2008 of Government of Meghalaya, established  in a 400 acres of picturesque landscape  surrounded by mesmerizing greenery in the Ri-Bhoi District of Meghalaya on the Guwahati Shillong  Road, 6 km from Dispur & km from Shillong.
 
An unique initiative taken by the foundation to give Free Education & fee relaxation to meritorious students belonging to families living Below Poverty Line (BPL) & economically weaker sections specially from underprivileged rural areas. Already more than 1000 students are availing this facility studying in courses like B. Tech, BCA, MCA etc. in various institutes run by the foundation. More than 500 of these students have already passed out & are successfully placed in different organizations making the efforts of ERDF fruitfull. Special relaxation in fee & free admission facility is also benefiting the deserving students in the two CBSE schools situated in rural areas.
 
Extends merit cum means scholarship for brilliant students pursuing higher education elsewhere in India. Prof Qoumrul Hoque Memorial Scholarship is given every year to 25 meritorious and economically weaker section students of the Barak Valley Region.
 
Signed MoU with CSIR –NEIST on February 24th, 2012 with an objective to motivate the upcoming science students, technocrats, research scholars & faculties to contribute towards research & innovative works for the scientific & technological development of the region. 
 
Another MoU signed with  CSIR- Central Road Research Institute (CRRI), New Delhi on 03/05/2012 for promoting research, development and innovation in the region in the areas of roads and bridges, traffic & transportation, ground improvement and geotechnical engineering, rural roads, pavements design, environment and road safety.
 
Inaugurated the “Centre for International Studies” under the University in presence of His Excellency High Commissioner of Bangladesh to India, Mr. Tarik Ahmad Karim & Governor of Meghalaya, Shri R.S. Mooshahary, followed by a panel discussion on “India -Bangladesh Relations : Beyond Trade and Commerce” focusing on international issues such as trade and business opportunities, better bilateral relations, sharing of resources between the nations, exchange of technology, higher and technical education, promotion of peace and understanding.
 
An international MoU has been signed with HiTec Education Centre, Ireland promoting exchange of faculty, exchange of students, summer/foundation courses, individual and joint research programmes, curriculum development projects, establishments of joint institutes etc.
 
MBA course at School of Business Studies of USTM got approval from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
 
Started IAS Coaching classes under Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Centre for Coaching & Guidance (FACC) with an unique scheme called "HOQUE-20" where 20 brilliant students from economically backward families will be fully sponsored by the foundation. 
 
Honourable Chief Minister of Assam, Shri Tarun Gogoi formally inaugurated FACC on 6th November, 2012.
 
In the loving memory of the Chairman's late mother, the foundation laying ceremony of Khairun Nessa Begum Women’s College was held on 10th November, 2012 at Badarpur in Karimganj District of Assam which is a bold step of the foundation to break the barriers in Female Education specially for the downtrodden rural women from the minority communities.
 
Centre for Educational Rehabilitation (CER) was formally inaugurated on 14th November, 2012 by rehabilitating more than 400 strife affected students of BTAD in the first phase.
 
Signed MoU with Bamboo & Cane Development Institute (BCDI), Agartala, set up by office of Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India, represented by Shri S. S. Gupta, Chairman, National Centre for Design & Product Development on 20th December, 2012 to start B.Tech course in Cane & Bamboo Technology, PG Diploma in Bamboo cultivation & research programmes.
 
Signed MoU with STARMASS Environment Technologies Corporation, USA.
 
Inaugurated Techno City Campus News within the campus to keep the students update with the current national and international happenings as well as the internal events, career related news like competitive examinations, higher education, job opportunities etc.
 
Prof. Qoumrul Hoque School of Education (PQSE) has received the approval vide letter no. ERC/7-170.6.5/NCTE/B.Ed./2014/24375 dated 03/03/2014 from National Council for Teachers’ Education (NCTE), ERC, Bhubaneswar to introduce B.Ed. courses from the academic session 2014-15 with an intake capacity of hundred.
 
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on 13th day of December 2014 with Tezpur University.
 
A Memorandum of Academic Consultancy was signed on 29th of November, 2014 with National Institute of Technology, Silchar.
